Shipping and Delivery
DELIVERIES/SHIPMENTS:
Important Shipping Information
Orders placed between Monday and Friday before 10:00 A.M. E.S.T will be shipped
or delivered within the Greater Lexington area the same business day. Orders
received after 10:00 A.M. will ship between 24-48 hours. Orders placed on
Saturday and Sunday will ship on Monday. For orders that are lost or misdirected
due to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender, additional charges for
shipping will be applied.
Local deliveries within the Lexington community:
Residential Deliveries within Lexington will be made Monday through Friday
between 9:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Deliveries start at $12.50. Additional costs may
be incurred for numerous baskets (5 or more) delivered to the same location, at
the same time. This fee covers most of the greater Lexington Area, including
on-campus or off-campus locations. Rush deliveries (one hour service) are $25.00
within the Greater Lexington area only.
Deliveries in the outlying areas of Lexington:
Deliveries to the outlying areas, such as Versailles, Nicholasville, Paris,
Frankfort, Georgetown and Louisville start at $18.00 (if delivered the following
day after ordered is placed) but may incur a higher charge based on city of
destination. Rush deliveries (which are considered same day) are available upon
request for an additional charge.
Please note:
Residential Deliveries made when no one is available to receive the delivery
will be left with a neighbor if possible and a door tag will be left with
notification of delivery and location.
Re-delivery Attempts - or re-routed deliveries to
corrected addresses: When no one is available to receive packages, a second
delivery attempt will be made. You will be charged accordingly. In addition, you
will also be charged if the second delivery attempt is due to an incorrect
address.
Commercial Deliveries:
Commerical/Business deliveries will be made Monday through Friday between 9:30
a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Our courier service guarantees delivery by the close of the
business day. Fees are the same as the residential fees outlined above.
Special timed deliveries:
Such deliveries will be quoted upon request.
Nationwide Shipments:
We ship anywhere in the United States, as well as parts of Canada and the
international community. (Please note that shipments outside of the U.S. may
impose certain shipping and basket content restrictions.) Our orders are shipped
regular ground service via Federal Express Ground service unless
otherwise requested. All other requests for 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next
Day Air, will be quoted upon request. All shipments require a street address and
correct phone number. Penalty fees for incorrect addresses will be charged to
the customer.
Shipping Within the United States
Ground Service unless otherwise requested by the customer:
West Coast 5-7 Business Days Mid West 1-3 Business Days East Coast 2-4 Business
Days Each basket is individually boxed. Transit times for ground shipping are
not guaranteed. Only Next Day, 2nd Day and 3-day shipping can be guaranteed. If
you would like to specify a date for your package to be shipped, please indicate
in the Comment Section of the order form. The standard shipping charges within
the United States, excluding Alaska, is $10.00. There is a $5.00 packaging and
handling fee. Most parcels range from $15.00 to $24.95 for regular ground
service, which includes packaging, handling, and freight charges. Quotes for two
day service, overnight service and priority overnight service are available upon
request. Some items may have a surcharge due to their unusually large size,
weight, or postal zip code zoning. Please ask for details.
